Yes I found my first barber coin ever! Today my brother, sister, and I had to go to the dentist for check-ups (Yuck!). My brother and I packed our detectors along because the dentist is in Tacoma which is much older than Issaquah. We went to my uncle's house again because we had success there earlier this week. Unfortunately we didn't find anything old in his yard but we moved to the parking strip in front of the house. After about 20 minutes out there I pulled out this token that reads "Seattle U.S. Space Needle" on one side, and "Good luck, bueno suerte, etc" on the other. I believe the token just says good luck in several different languages. If anyone knows the history of this token I would love to know what it is. As we were getting ready to leave I got a repeatable dollar signal in the 5-6" range. Being adventurous I dug this target and found this 1919-s Mercury dime! I rescanned the dirt pile I had dug and found the quarter. I thought that it would be a Standing Liberty Quarter at the earliest but no its a 1909-D Barber Quarter! Anyways I was very happy an my brother and I had a very successful hunt. Have fun hunting this week!
