Ground was too frozen and snow all over the place here in Stafford,Virginia to any digging so I decided to go to Richmond County,Virginia and hit up a farmers colonial house who let's me dig there twice a year, since it's on his front lawn and around the house he only let's me detect it for 2-3 hours but the place is a 18th/19th century coin paradise. Dug 1795 Liberty, 1853, 1837, 18?? (someone drilled a hole thru the date to wear it for jewelry),1911, flat button with back-marks "Plated" and a kings crown on it, a button that look like it was a police officers, and a decorative piece that is got a two faces and "Jenco Union City" on the back, and a comb that is got engraved "Midget ----- Lightly" . Next dig here will be in the summer and the farmers wife said we can get a days digging in so really looking forward to that.
