A miserable day out detecting for sure but I did come up with my second Jesuit ring (broken one on the bottom) of the year. Both of these rings were found in the water but roughly 40km's apart. As a side note the AT Pro runs quite well in the cold weather -10c and 35 km/h wind with no issues with battery life at all.

You don't see those posted all too often.

The only place I remember those being found is from parts of Ontario mainly around Lake Superior, is your pic Superior, or Wawa?

I've seen them found very close to me, about an hour away...there were a few areas that the Jesuits were situated around here..

I found the whole one first and couldn't figure out the script, luckily finding the second one helped me to identify it. Wish the rings were gold.

Fascinating! Check my post on a Jesuit trade ring, am looking for a better time frame for it?
