I don't own this but have heard its good. There's also a book called American Artifacts of Personal Adornment that's supposed to cover a large array of different items. As I said Dutch I don't yet own these so if you could find them at a bookstore and check em out first it'd prob be best. I'm going to order the buckle book soon and will let ya know how it is.

There's one that looks a lot like your top buckle on page 82. It dates from 1620 to 1680! Nice find!
 

Your 2 buckles are mid 19th C horse tack types.
 

Nice finds, as you can see there is some debate as to when these buckles are from. I would tend to side with crusader....I enjoy finding these buckles, have around 3 or 4 in different sizes

You're welcome! I found it as a link in a YouTube video where someone found a colonial buckle. Very handy to have when you're digging up buckles on a regular basis.

Found a complete shoe buckle last week and it's great to have a date range
