US RAU - Military belt buckle

[connorghabra]

Found this U.S. RAU military belt buckle detecting my coworker’s yard.

Apparently it’s most likely from the 1950’s-1970’s, but any other info is appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

At first I thought it's the seatbelt from airplanes but according to ai it's a Vietnam War era buckle.
Good luck getting the id
