I went to the Subterrix Cellar Run on Sunday and found my first colonial shoe buckle! This is everything notable I found:

- Colonial shoe buckle frame (Favorite find)
- 4x Great Seal military buttons (First for me as well and they seem to have been painted black)
- 1x copper button..dandy? (Shank intact)
- 1x musket ball
- Silver plated brace
- The Monarch Brace (PB stamp - 'Patent Bearing' - 1873 to 1874)

I did a lot of research with Lidar and marked locations that I thought were cellar holes, but everything I marked turned out to be giant rocks or natural depressions etc. There were a lot of stone walls/property boundaries, so I walked around almost randomly from 9am to 3pm. I got lucky coming across the buckle around noon and then found everything else around 1pm about 100ft from the buckle. It was my first group hunt, so I'm super happy with my finds and will check out more events like this in the future. Thinking about going to Digstock in 2027 👀

The Great Seal of the United States, blackened bronze buttons were used from 1902 and into WWII, the ones you found look like they're from WWI, that style of the Great Seal button dates from 1902 to 1918.
