Tongue potion of two piece naval buckle

Found this tongue portion of a two piece buckle tonight at an 18th century house site. I believe that it’s silver plated brass (not light weight or stamped brass) and appears to be navy related. I’ve found large cents from the 1830’s and 50’s at this old house site as well. Any idea of a time period for this buckle? Thanks!

The small tongue portion of a two-piece interlocking Tongue & Wreath buckle you have there, featuring a vertical anchor design, would have originally had an outer wreath with the design on a Life Preserver. These small Tongue & Wreath buckles date a full century or so later than the 1830's period Large Cents from the home site.

The "silver" appearing finish on these buckles is likely nickle plating.

Wonder if there have been recoveries of these small Tongue & Wreath anchor buckles in Spain?

Possibly around the popular resort beaches of Ibiza?
