key

I dug this key and it appears to say 'BLCo' but I could be wrong. Any idea of the age? I found it on an old WW2 airfield in the middle of no where, no buildings for at least 10 miles and people have been in that area since the 1880's or so. Thank you.

Do these ever have any value? I'm in possession of a ring of large prison keys from the mid 1800's. They are the original cell keys from the California San Quentin State Prison. A couple of them are pretty ornate and cool looking. Thanks!
