    I live in Northeast Ohio currently, where the dirt goes a few feet (or some places just a few inches) down then turns to clay. Anybody from around here done much hunting and have any idea on how deep you usually find coins? I am hoping to find coins especially from the mid 1800s to early 1900s...

  5. Copper(?) Police button dug at old farmhouse

    I dug this POLICE button near a tree line between an old farm house and RR tracks. It's nearly the exact size of a quarter and appears to be copper. The back is intact but rough condition and needs some cleaning overall.. Are there any button experts that know the approximate year such buttons...
