Unfortunately I didn't find this today. However I was convinced the other half of the buckle was in the general area. I think I may be wrong because it ain't turned up yet. The place is public and has been hammered harder than a toddlers swing set. I still got lucky with a nicely carved bullet...
Had a good hunt! Silver, wheats, tokens and some beautiful jewelry! I'm nit sure how old the trigger guard is. But the token with the hole in the middle is from first national bank.
I'm not sure if my machine was picking up a piece of tin or this little buckle but either way they were both in the same hole. I believe it's the smallest one I've ever found.
Still no silver in the new spot yet. I did find $3.17 in change and 4 new Wheaties to add to the collection. I'm pretty sure I had 5 at one point but I think I either lost one or the dog ate it. The dates are 2 - 1944's, 1 -1953 and a lovely 1927.
Side note : she's acting odd, definitely ate...

I've been hunting a house that was built in 1943. Mostly looking for silver. Surprisingly, the only silver I've dug over a 6 month period was a 1/4 spanish reale after a good rain one evening... until today that is. I finally found what I've been looking for! I've only found 2, maybe 3 wheat...
