Unfortunately I didn't find this today. However I was convinced the other half of the buckle was in the general area. I think I may be wrong because it ain't turned up yet. The place is public and has been hammered harder than a toddlers swing set. I still got lucky with a nicely carved bullet, another weird token and half a CS buckle!

Nice finds but I thought carved bullets were carved into some other shape like a toy soldier.
Not necessarily. They can be carved into anything. I've seen chess pieces, insignia, and endless possibilities from creative soldiers during downtime. I think this one wasn't completely finished.

Thanks for the reply and I agree about those idle soldiers.

I just didn't see any carving on it in the images. I guess I was looking for a change in shape.

Cool bullet.

I believe the token is Israeli and likely a transport token. We need someone who can read Hebrew. These are subway tokens from the 1960s:

So I google searched a pic of the token and nothing popped up. Then I hit translate and Hebrew popped up as well as German. Now that I think about it, I'd almost bet it was brought home from the ww1 or ww2.

I id manage to dig a bullet awhile back that had a snake wrapped around it with the snake head at the top. It's a Confederate piece of lead
