Did my typical weekly run.

Bank 1:
1 - $200 bag of nickels
1 - $50 bag of pennies

Bank 2:
1 - $50 bag of pennies

Bank 3:
1 - $500 bag of dimes
1 - $50 bag of pennies
and...
$18 in loose halves that were in the tellers tray.

The $18 had
2 - 90% Kennedy (1964-D(2))
22 - 40% Kennedy (1965(7), 1966(7), 1967(7), 1968-D)
12 clad and 4 of the clad were 1971 and 1971-D which are by far the nicest I have come across (and I have seen a lot I thought were nice). Both 1971-D coins probably grade MS-65+ (my grading skills are not honed for anything above BU), I wouldn't be surprised if one was MS-67+. Practically mirrorlike and I couldn't see a mark on it without magnification and even then I had to search.

Either way I'll take the 66% keeper rate. ;D

Now let's hope those bags produce too..

Started with the $200 bag of nickels.

Halfway through, I had maybe 13 common pre-1960 nickels and was thinking this might be one of the worst bags I had ever done.

But then I found a 1942-S War nickel which improved my mood.

By the time I was done, here is what I found
1 - 1942-P War Nickel
3 - 1942-S War Nickel
1 - 1943-P War Nickel
1 - 1943-D War Nickel
1 - 1943-S War Nickel
2 - 1944-P War Nickel
1 - 1944-D War Nickel
1 - 1944-S War Nickel
1 - 1945-P War Nickel
1 - 1945-D War Nickel
1 - 1945-S War Nickel
1 - 1948-S
1 - 1949-S
2 - 1953-S
1 - 1954-S

47 other pre-1960 Jefferson (1939(4), 1940(4), 1940-D, 1941(2), 1941-D, 1942, 1946(4), 1946-D, 1947(2), 1947-D, 1948, 1952, 1952-D, 1953-D, 1954(2), 1954-D(3), 1956, 1956-D(3), 1957, 1957-D(2), 1958-D(4), 1959(2), 1959-D(4))

13 Canadian (1962, 1971, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1982, 1985(2), 1986(2), 1994, 1996, 2004-P)

1 Namco arcade token

And for those keeping track at home...yes I got a complete war nickel set from this bag. ;D Didn't even do that when I found my war nickel bonanza box with 100 war nickels back a month or two ago.

In the last 4 or 5 handfuls I was getting 1, 2, or 3 war nickels per handful.

Great finds! I'm totally jealous. I still need 2 of those War Time nickels. Funny, how your previous silver nickel hoard makes this great one look shabby! You've raised the bar, GMan.
