Dug this 1 piece button in a farm field in Conn. Theres a crown in a circle with lettering around the outside on back it says Clancy Dublin .

Made in Ireland (Dublin) - 1817-1847

Without the letters, it hard to be sure whether its an Irish Militia or maybe a Police Button. Most likely Military.
