I say that with all sarcasm

Bank 1
Box 1: Skunk
Box 2: Skunk

Bank 2:
Box 3: Skunk
Box 4: 1 40%er
Box 5: 3 40%ers & 1 90%er
Box 6: 1 40%er

Bank 3:
Box 7: Skunk
Box 8: Skunk
Box 9: Skunk
Box 10: Skunk

Penny Box: 1 clad dime & all the rest = zincoln skunk - shorted me 2 cents too but the dime made up for it. LOL

Pee-yew.. Hard work doing this higher volume jazz. Not a lot to show for it up here. It is typical that one box here will make up for a bunch of skunks. I always seem to get a bunch of skunks and one to make up for some of them. Bank 2's boxes gave me all skunks last week so no rhythm or reason what goes in what box. I just know that I need to do 4 times as many boxes now to get what I used to get years ago. Hopefully as the prices for silver drops, more will end up in the boxes and things will return to what they were years ago. I hope that is.

On another interesting note. Got a Brinks sealed box of pennies and I recall the thread about Brinks culling copper. Well I inspected a few rolls and noticed no copper coins on the ends at all. So I weighed the rolls and sure enough it was a zincoln circulated box. There was a dime in one of the rolls so I don't think Brinks was culling them or else there wouldn't be a dime in there. One of the rolls might have a copper cent inside but I'm not going to waste time to find out. I'm guessing it's the obsessed copper penny older guy in my area that goes and takes dumps at Brinks. Don't get why that guys does all those pennies when copper prices are tanking too. LOL.

Hey SFBAYAREA,
Stick with it. You will score soon. I can feel it for you.
I did two boxes today and scored one very nice Walker.
That was it in both boxes. Made my day. Just stay with
it and silver will come your way. "It's out there..trust me"!
Best of luck to you

I've done 2 Brinks boxes of cents this week and pulled about 15% copper and 16 Wheats, so yeah don't think they are culling the coppers.

SFBay,
Sounds like we have "kissing cousin boxes." Mine have been nil' to nada as of late. But, we will stick with it, because as Rileyboy says, " It is out there!" We will get those silver boxes soon. :icon_sunny:

apush :read2:

I def. feel ya about the "lots of work for very little silver"... With that said though, at least you proved to yourself that there actually is silver being wrapped up and put in those boxes, maybe if you strategize pick ups, and dumps etc... you may see your numbers increase... maybe, I could be wrong.

On another note, I keep hearing many people say that maybe if silver goes down to 20 or less per ounce that it might thin the CRH'ing herd. I find that sooo hard to believe. I hope I'm wrong, I just think with the new age of online everthing..... to many retards who are posting CRH'ing videos on youtube, and anywhere else it might possibly get some attention, and it gets to a point where there will be more than enough people doing this as a hobby, regardless of what the spot price of silver is.... I hope Im wrong, I just dont see it slowing down with the digital age.

Please don't use denigrating terms here at TreasureNet. Thanks.s who are posting CRH'ing videos on youtube, and anywhere else it might possibly get some attention, and it gets to a point where there will be more than enough people doing this as a hobby, regardless of what the spot price of silver is.... Hey C! 2 things. First, I think its hilarious when the word retard is used and we get this auto response. Secondly, people might think twice about doing dimes when they are only "worth" a buck somthing. Halves, maybe a different story. I hope the price does effect CRH, but Im with ya, people always remember the bull that charged.

Thanks everyone.. this is a good supportive crowd we have here.

I don't know if silver will go back down to 20/oz. but when silver was 20/oz. a 40%er was worth a little over $2 and a 90%er was $5 from what I remember. With that, I think that less and less people will feel encouraged to look through boxes for a couple bucks. After all, it is hard work. Back then I was content with doing 4 boxes a week with pretty much the same finds I'd get with the higher number of boxes now. I do dimes too but I hadn't gotten much in dimes either this month. I used to average a little more than 1 dime per $500 box but this month, I found 1 Merc in 8 boxes of dimes. It is out there. Just gotta grind it out and work through this period of attrition. May only the strongest and most determined CRHers survive. LOL

These halves are pretty tough up here alright even finding loose halves in the Bay area lately is hard. I keep hearing " someone bought them all a few days ago " or " as soon as they come in people buy them " Hopefully falling silver prices will drive away some of these clowns

Most of the time when I ask for halves, they all don't have much or may have a couple bucks worth that I can tell from looking at into their tray that it's just clad. In the end, I don't ask for them very much. I do try to spend them when I can however. You should be glad your dime boxes are still producing. If only halves come in clear wrap rolls.

If my boxes were skunking-out like that, I'd be into bags and CRW's BIG TIME.

Keep on Rollin'!

Dude -

If that's a vein...time for a transfusion!
