We were able to search 10 boxes of cents over the past month below are our findings.
Box 1 = 1929, 1937s, and 38 common cents. (The 1937s was needed for our found in the wild book)
Box 2 = 3 common wheats
Box 3 = 14 common wheats
Box 4 = 1894 Indian head
1929, and 14 common wheats. (The 1894 was needed for our Indian head book)
Box 5 = 14 common wheats
Box 6 = 1927, 1928, 13 common wheats and 3 King George
Box 7 = 1936, 21 common wheats
Box 8 = 14 common wheats, 2 dimes, and a paper cent.
Box 9 = 1937, 1938, 10 common wheats and 2 King George
Box 10 = 14 common wheats
Totals
Indian heads = 1
Wheats = 157
King George = 6
Dimes = 4
Most wheats in one box = 40
Least wheats in one box = 3
oldest coin 1894 Indian Head
Average Wheats per box = 15.7
Total "s" wheats = 5
Some boxes where bought complete, about half were made up from buying $5 to $10 of cents from tellers, while searching for halves. Only one cent out of 25,000 searched was needed for our Found in the Wild Book (1937 s). All were searched in my car, at stop lights, while waiting to pick the kids up from school, soccer, etc. It took about 1 month to search them all.
Keep on Searching
