10 IH's, 3 Barbers and a Admiral Dewey Visit token! Great 2 hour hunt!

So today I hit the woods yet again for another exploration adventure. I seemed to have stumbled upon a turn of the 19th century picnic site! :icon_sunny: 10 Ih's which I have not cleaned yet. 3 Barber dimes a 1897, 98 and 03! Also found a supper cool medal. Says "Admiral Dewey's Visit" May 1900. Other side says Dewey's Flag Ship Olympia. These are ALL the finds today, nothing but early 1900's items. Best Hunt in a long time for sure. :laughing7: Dewey token. 002.webp Barber #1 003.webp Barber #2 005.webp Barber#3 007.webp old pocket watch 004.webp 009.webp 010.webp011.webp 012.webp 014.webp 015.webp 016.webp

Awesome finds!! Which machine were you using, the White's or the Garrett?

This post is the first of three hunts at this new very productive site. I have used the Whites DFX in Relic mode (which is basically all metal mode) on all three trips. Last hunt the ground was good and wet and lots of the Indians were coming in good and solid almost in the dime range. Normally in dry ground IH's don't read that high. Next hunt I will use the Garrett and see how that fairs. I am sure it will perform well too!
