10 Silver ~ 50 Wheats ~ '35 D Buffalo!!

Hello Everyone!!

Wow, the silver coinage sure is flowing on our forum lately! Awesome job, to all who posted their hard earned finds!!

This week I found the old coinage in three different parks. Of course, one of them was the "silver park". At the other two parks, I managed 2 mercury dimes and 14 wheaties. I felt satisfied to meet my previous goal of just finding 1 silver coin from each of those two parks yesterday. There were 6 other detectorists with me who can attest to both of those park's lack of good, deep targets. Both parks were loaded with gopher holes/mounds. At least 5-6 wheaties and the 1935 D buffalo nickel were all found in gopher mounds. Don't pass them up!

The other silver have all come from the "silver park". It's still producing for me, but it sure is thinning out. I've only got 12 more silver to find there to get to my goal of 250 from that one park. I hope there's 12 more left with my name on them.

Right on Dan! Those are some nice silver coins there! The Buffalo nickel nice is a great treasure too!

I'm sure that "Silver Park" will give you at least 12 more pieces of silver so you can reach your goal! Piece of cake!

Man, the silver sure keeps flowing for you. Congrats!! Keep up the great work.

BTW, did you clean your buffalo, and if so, what did you do? I've found a couple this week, but they're a very dark red/brown. Got any tips to share?

I can't wait to get out again, but we had four inches of snow Saturday, and it keeps raining/sleeting/blowing....

WTG Dan on the silver and the wheats !!! That is a lot of wheats and a lot of digging Congrats my friend. The Buffalo is cool ,I don't dig those very often .Only if the target are far and few. Have a Good one and Good luck on your quest and fill your silver pocket !!!!

Great post with lots of silver. Be a nice guy and leave some for the rest of us. All I can seem to find is memorials and pull tabs. Or once you get it all found walk around and throw it back out there so we can find it too.
