$100 windfall from White's

Thanks Tim (Lowbatts) for the "heads up" on the White's Calendar
contest. . . I sent them some photos of my finds for consideration in their 2010
Calendar and the one they selected for January were my 2009 forest finds.

That would make a lovely calendar photo and those are some great finds too. That V nickle in the fore of the shot is in beautiful shape for a nickel.

I think they were more pleased with the XLT in the background. . . I have to admit though,
that White's machine is a killer for finding stuff in the woods. . . even through the snow

Thanks everyone for all the comments. . . I think I'm going to cash that certificate
in for two Lesche diggers. . . does anyone need one? Maybe I'll have a contest
or something after New Years and "donate" one to someone in the Illinois section.
