1000$ half dollar box?

I finally got a bank to order me halves and when I checked that they did order them I was told its 1000$ and not 500$. Are the rolls 40 coins or is it a large box? I'd like input on wether these boxes produce or you get skunked?

They may have ordered you a gold dollar box. Those come in $1000s

Every bank that I have ordered from has a $1000 (2 box) minimum when ordering halves. Most likely when your order comes in, it will be 2 $500 boxes.

likely 2x $500 half dollar boxes like stated by arkie, some banks have a 2-box minimal order.

its more like the 2 box minimum. I have one bank that I order from that its a $1000 minimum. 2 x 500 boxes

Sometimes, halves used to be packaged in $20 rolls a long time ago. Not in a box though, but just CWR. Your order will be 2 boxes most likely. Did you show her what a half looks? They may order golden dollars (some tellers are confused how a half looks).

Yes she knows what they are. I asked about ordering Ike's and she said they can only order the brass dollars
