Woke up at 7:30 am to darkness and heavy frost. Sounds like a treasure hunt kind of day. Got to the first school just as the sun was coming up. Stayed for about 1 1/2 hours and only found 11 coins and a junk ring. Left for a nearby town a few miles up the road. Arrived at a wood chip play area that was called (get this) Tot Lot. Started finding some coins and I eyeballed a ring laying on the ground. Picked it up and thought it looked like sterling. My eyes not being able to read fine print I returned to my car to get some magnification. Imagine my pleasure when I saw the 10k inside the band. Started my search again when I found the clasp which is marked .925. To answer the obvious yes I looked for the rest of the chain but it was not to be found. Total for the morning was 53 coins. Not much season left here in Michigan
