Nickels; 49 including a 1900 V nickel.
Dimes;297 including my first silver of the year a 1942-d
Quarters 328,112 of which were states quarters, 40 different.
Half dollars; 1
Dollars; 3, a Sacagewea, Jefferson and Madison.
Silver rings; 2
Other rings; 3
Tokens; 6 including a cedar sheep asssociation token(old) hyvis motor oil and a tax token.
marbles; 4
Keys; 7
Other keepable items; 23
Total coins for the month 1165,for the year so far 2390 including the ones found march first.

Snow and winter are such downers, I loathe winter.....Kane23

Three weeks of semi decent weather, all gone! the weather channel predicted an inch of snow last night, KUTV predicted it would'nt snow here at all. Instead we were sucked into the 9th plane of Hades and had 12 inches. I need to move to key west.....Kane 23

I did the math that's $122.46

Geez I'd like to hit that number for the year let alone a month !!!!

Good job

March is getting tougher! Snowed another five inches last night, the wind chill this morning was -1F. I'll never make a thousand coins this month unless I get a break...Kane 23

What sort of places do you hunt? Don't worry...I'm in Tennessee so I don't think I'll be hittin' your spots. Ha.

Obsene number of coins you found there Kane. WTG

Try as I might, I doubt very seriously that I would ever find a 1000 coins in one month. Like you, I search parks, schools, and other places where people congregate, but once cleaned up, it takes awhile for the area to replenish itself. I thought that I was off to a pretty good start this year, (so far I've found 375 coins), and I average around 3500 a year. I'm hoping for more this year, but I doubt that that will happen. I spend more of my time looking for the older coins than I do the new clad ones.

Nebstater,
I would like to spend all of my time looking for older coins, but I rarely get the opportunity anymore. On the other hand finding 4 clad quarters is better money wise than a silver Roosevelt dime.I depend on the change I find a lot. Good hunting, Kane 23

great job! shoot i wasn't even able to get out till march! peace, bigrig

Wow, you really had a great time in February, although it was not all sandy soil and warm
dry weather! If you can find so much in such a short and nasty month I wonder what this
year will do in the summertime! Nice finds!

Woody,
Summer depends on how hot it gets,if to hot then it can be worse than winter. Lost 6 days last week to weather,so I'll be stretched to the limit to make a thousand this month, but i will try.Find some more gold!....Kane 23
