12/27/09 wifes first point and the rest....

Well, it is 30 degrees here in southern Indiana and we went out for a field hunt. About 10 minutes in my wife found her first....the first one on pic. Then we found a the rest of this. What is the deal with the white piece?? It is weird, it seems like a glass or maybe quartz...but I fins it odd how it seems cut. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I agree with unitas on the white piece being a piece of melted glass.

hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like milky quartz to me. looks too much like an artifact to be glass unless it is a really late piece
