12 SILVER DAY!!!

Hi everyone, I decided to hit a couple of places in Toronto that I had researched over the winter and found a great spot. The first place I hit was an old park that only produced clad so I left and hit a late 1800's school that also yielded only clad and a 1991 cent at 5 inches. I then went to an early 1900's school that produced a 1983 U.S. quarter at 6 and a half inches I was getting really tired of finding nothing good so I hit one last park from the early 1900's. The first signal I got was a 1940 dime so I knew I had found a good place to hunt. I continued on and found a lot of cents from the 40's and 50's an old lipstick tube and 5 wheat cents oldest 1925. I pulled out the most silvers I have ever found in one day previously beating my record of 11 in June of 2013. I found 4 dimes: 59, 42, 40 and 12. I found 3 Quarters and 2 were in the same hole: (52 and 44) and 1910. I found 3 Fishscales:1912, 1908 and my first Victorian fishscale 1893! I also found my first war nickel: 1943P and a silver Great War Veterans Pin. Finally the coolest find of the day was a buckle with a clasp that said "Toronto 1914". If anyone knows what this is please let me know. This was one of my best hunts ever and I will be returning to that park shortly, Good Luck and HH!

Funny though, to think that even way up there in Canada, some can find a war nickel. Hmmmmmm.....

It took two years for me to find my second ever silver today, a 1943 War Nickel. Congrats on such a great day, If I keep up with my current path it will take me 24 years to find 12 silvers.

I love day's like that. But get a Job!!!! How much a Hour are you getting. Ha Ha Some water finds I see. That's a lot of digging my friend. Did you make Min. wage? Silver is about 5 times face value. Ha Ha Only having fun. I'll be their next week.
