Hi;
Sorry I did not post yesterday but I got home from the hunt to find a several hour lineup of MeteorMen on the science channel.
Had another good day at a site that has been producing eagle buttons but had to work a little harder for them yesterday. Found three thimbles, the flattened one had the words " Blessings Attend You" around the base. Dug what I think is a very pocket worn copper as it had no markings to indicate it might have been a flat button. Dug some flats, one with an iron back, one with ornate markings and one with heavy script that I cannot read and will be posting on what is it for help. I dug a confederate hollowpoint round ball (net weight). Dug a Navy Coat that at first I thought it was flattened but looking at it closer was made that way; it has a Waterbury Scovill MFG CO bm. Also dug a New York coat with a "Extra Quality" bm. Dug a post war eagle with a Horstman Philadelphia bm and a 1951 wheatie. My partner dug an awsome dome style Navy coat with a same bm as mine.
