Want to start this post with a huge shoutout to Neil from Low and Slow metal detecting on YouTube with his Free style program for the Manticore. I’m now a believer.

Been hunting this ring for several years since I started in 2015. The lady who lost it visited the house 10 years ago or so and told us she lost her wedding ring somewhere in the garden. She’s long since passed on but I’m thrilled to have recovered it for her. No plans on selling it. I’ve pounded this garden over the years with the Ace400 and Nox 600. Manticore hit it. I wasn’t expecting this at all today. This ring has been in the ground for over 50 years. I’m in disbelief.

That's a beauty... Any chance of returning it to the family?

Looks very similar in style of my mom's, which she and dad were married in 1949. I'm thinking it was maybe made within the 1940s. Pretty nice recovery I'd say.

Great persistence! It looks like a delicate ring so maybe the signal was not strong? My mother, who was married in 1938 wore a similar ring as an engagement ring. I think it's still in the family.
