I hope I can find out more too!
I've researched the state also, and the roland character on the one side.
I have a strange feeling about this coin..I'm hoping it has some value..

Did a little more searching. The coin may be a commemorative. 1404 was the date that a statue was erected in honor of Roland, who was apparently a nephew of the great Charlemagne. I will keep looking.

After searching everywhere I can think, I have come up with the thought that it is a city "token". They were used after world war one, when coins were scarce and inflation was high. Found some other ones listed as such with different denominations. Hope you find out more!!! Also hope it's worth a mint :)
