14K baseball bats from where else? My Pony field!

[halfdime]

A beautiful warm Veterans' Day here in Western PA! Before I go any further, let me thank my brothers for their faithful service to our country: USAF Brig. Gen halfdime, USAF Major halfdime and USAF Captain halfdime (retired, also known as jethro1982). I've been harvesting the Pony field I cared for and coached on this fall, with finds coming just often enough to keep me interested! Yesterday I plucked a 1936 Buff and a 47 Rosey; I didn't take a picture because we've all seen them and I was too tired! Today, my first signal was golden: this 14K crossed baseball bats and ball. Or is it softball? Probably more likely something a girl would have lost, if you ask me. I added a couple of deep wheats and some clad from this site which has been heavily hunted. Still, I've nailed three silver dimes here, a 14K ring and now this beauty!

I plan on getting on the field later today (after it warms up!); right now it's frosty and 26 degrees. I got $34 for that little gold trinket, which makes Mrs. halfdime a little more sympathetic to my obsession!
