I did not avoid what are you talking about?
Sorry my English is not very good and it took me time to answer you

Do you know what a deposit of bronze foundry ?
This is to go and hide away from all of the raw material, by consequant we can discover anywhere outside of any site...

And if there was a site, authorities will be very happy to learn from me, do not you think?
(yes a founders hoard is an Archaeological site)
I think they will be very happy to learn from you, hope you carry on being honest with them  (I'm not only referring to this post)

What did they say when you reported this along with the Celtic Gold Coins on the banner? Did the landowner get half or did it go to the museum?

Jeff, with respect (which ultimately I do), what am I being quoted on. I asked fair questions. We are a great forum which likes to honour the Law of the Land in which we reside. If you understand French Law these questions are easy to answer, I make no judgement, just the answer to reasonable questions. I never hide from the truth, & answer every question, in the same way that I know you would. :icon_scratch: :notworthy:

Super nice, congratulations! :icon_thumleft:

He is going to donate it to a museum. He found it in a wooded area. Sorry but I would not be calling this in to Archies to come and take what they never would have found without him.Im sure these relics have more of a historical value then dollar value. Man It must really suck to detect over there knowing everything will be taken from you. Its like the tax man here :laughing9:

Fantastic Finds Filou! Very awesome. !!!!!! You have every right to dig. You obviously take your craft seriously and have gone to great trouble to make finds like these.

Great find Bronze age wow!!

Nice finds regardless.
I found an arrowhead on a navigable waterway here in the United States. The farmer said I could have it though. The Federal Gov says it is theirs.
I will be mailing it to them tomorrow along with the 60 year old (antique)wheat back penney from the city park,, That's are antiquity laws here.
Bahahhahaha :sign10:

Very beautiful finds! Congratulations on a great discovery.

Just a piece if information for everyone: Most of the times in our countries the land owners do not want any report of anything found on their land, because they would come in, rip the whole area, dig every little bit of relic out, confiscate the land (not always), and leave without giving even a thank you note...that's the way how it works here, 99 % of the time.
The land owner always tell me, do never say anything!!!

Thank you very much all :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I wish you all to find your dreams :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Bonjure... Great finds! Merci!!!

Filou901,

Congratulations on the fantastic and amazing finds. I can understand the concern to do

these things in a legal manner, we need to protect our hobby. I also understand that

without us a lot of this stuff might be lost forever or rot in the ground.

I just wish the powers that be would wise up and figure out what an asset

we are to saving history.

Yes we must protect our hobby and save up objects and information about the past

Very cool finds. I enjoyed looking at the pics

Hope i'm not speaking out of turn here being a newbie. I think there was just a little bit of lost in translation with Filou. Crusader is concerned because there is so many important historic relics sold on places like e-bay by hawkers. In the U.K. and most of Europe there are strict laws in place. These finds are not our posessions or bounty to keep, as we all know certain objects could be an important piece of the jigsaw in our history. I think we all should ask questions and moderate ourselves and each other to protect the hobby which could be taken away from us altogether if we dont.
Wish i could find something of historic importance :BangHead:
