16-18th century Spanish manuscripts

Help...does anyone know what the @ symbol above a word or used alone signifies in Spanish documents. This one is from 16th century Spain. Also the abreviation for heirs (herederos) is it hr(o above the r)?

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Anyhow, as to your factual question, the @ is generally an shortening for "ra".

Like in "pa@ mi Snr." you should read "para mi Señor"

I love paleography. I swear that, sometimes, it's even better doing it than to be actually diving after the leads on documents.

yeah sorry its from the early 1500's. What do you think about the hr (with the o above it) means? heredero or hermano? i can find it anywhere in the books ive refrenced...

Hmmm, I would say late 1500´s.

"Manda que hizo alonzo garcia hijo de Villal pando"?

What is it? A will? A property/land note? I guess it's not shipwreck related. But it seems very easy to read.
