Found this in a farm field after work today..wasn't quite sure what it was so I posted it on What Is It..and with the help of bramblefind I learned it's a Sigismund III Poland Trojak..how did it get in a farm field and South Jersey you ask? The town I found it in was established as a settlement for Eastern Europeans in the 1800's primarily from Poland and Russia..all i can guess is it was a someones good luck charm perhaps..Very happy to find it..can't wait to get back to that field tomorrow! Took it to coin shop in town..look's like it's from the late 1500's to the early 1600's but it was too worn for him to give me any further info and suggested that take it to an ancient coin expert in the city so I'll take it there next week.. I posted a link above
