1676 SCOTTISH SIXPENCE * LEAD SEAL * CUFFLINK BUTTONS ETC

Nice bunch of relics cross potent!vanzutphen

The button looks really interesting, might get a bit more detail off of it if you decide on cleaning it up more. the first item is cool, looks like a bird at 1 o'clock, and the inner part has some neat design going on. Nice selection of finds!

Still tons of signals, this site will no doubt produce for some time to come.
Interesting Scottish coin, it's something I've not seen before, that's why I like it!

I don't think that place is going to slow down any time soon. Like the Scottish copper, never seen one. The button is very interesting hope someone can help id it. Congrats on another great hunt!

That's a great pile of relics! And a really neat odd coin on this side of the pond - congrats! Keep pounding the site, we want to see what else you find there!

I think the coin might be 1678. Dont see any 1676s anywhere.

We have videos of us digging this, the cob a couple halfpennies and other stuff but when I upload to youtube they look pixelated. Ticking me off. Will try and figure it out tomorrow since I am taking a day off from swinging.

Another great hunt buddy. Great coin! Never seen that one before. Man that's a great early site. Hopefully in a few weeks I can find a few of those

Well as said before those are some great finds and great early site you have there. I look forward for the finds to keep on coming CONGRATS

Congrats on another excellent colonial adventure CP. That copper appears to be a Charles II bawbee 6 pence which were minted only during 1677-79. I dug one a couple years ago at an early site (see below), but they're rarely seen here in the US. Definitely another nice copper to add to your collection. Good luck with the pits ......
