Well found this 1750's hand grenade last week and finally restored it today..it should be noted that the original fuse plus was inside....
Very nice recovery congratulations
 

Outstanding! I think they were used more in the French & Indian War and had passed out of use by the Revolution. That is really cool!
You are correct..this was from the French Indian War period...

That's an amazing find!
I can't say I've seen anything like that posted here in my time, so I guess it hits on the rare scale. Being as old as it is it's crazy how it remained intact all those years in the ground.

Well found this 1750's hand grenade last week and finally restored it today..it should be noted that the original fuse plus was inside....
