On how many 1715 Fleet sites (either beach or water) have raw emeralds been recovered? I know of several raw emeralds that came from the Cannonpile wreck area, the large one that came up near Wabasso Beach, and a large conglomerate of them that came from the "Urca" site in the past... Any others?
I understand that raw emeralds were not typically on the ships manifests (although I am not quite sure why they weren't a manifested item since they were being so heavily mined by the Spaniards during that time and they adorned so much of the jewelry of that period).
Also, might anyone know if the emeralds recovered so far from the 1715 Fleet were only from the Muzo mines or if some were also from Chivor mines as both mines were being controlled by the Spanish during that period...
