Hey Guys
, here's my bounty from the same hunt that Jeff found his Light Artillery Button. Found a George I farthing which are hard to come by down here. We usually find George II and George III Coppers. Found another item that has the Latin phrase "Docendo Discimus Exnihilo Nihil Fit" which translated means: "We learn by teaching. Out of nothing comes nothing." The phrase is attributed to both Empedocles and Seneca the Younger... Not sure who's bust is on the front but looks alot like George V or Nicholas II.
Also got another holed Millard Fillmore Token which is different than the one I dug a couple months back and MANNNN was it DEEP! I must have dug for like 15 minutes and about 14 inches down before it popped out. I could barely get my shovel down into the bottom of the hole to scoop out dirt it was so deep
Anyways, I also got some Eagle Buttons from the hunt. All in all a happy hunt. Hope all you guys are having fun in this nice fall weather.
Sure is a welcome sign from the 100 degree days we had nearly all summer long here. Actually today we got a BIG reprieve with quite abit of rain!
Here's the Pics:
1850s Millard Fillmore Presidential Token

The Millard Fillmore Token from two months ago with the one I just found. One is larger and has a General Service Eagle on the Reverse while the other has highlights of his career and life

1723 King George the First Farthing

"Docendo Discimus ex Nihilo Nihil Fit" Brass Keeper of some sort?

Part of Brass Handle Frame to a Boot Pistol
