An awesome day in every way, sunny with a stiff cooling breeze.
There was almost zero junk targets, and one of those was a clad quarter.
Only about 15 minutes in I get an "87" on the Omega, and out comes big spanish Silver, 1747 being my second oldest silver ever, and it is in very nice condition....awesome.
I got it on live video, which is slightly awesome, and will probably add the video shortly.
Went on to find 6 more coppers, one of is a first, an 1812 wellington.
Topped off the "Sunday" with a Navy cuff (officers maybe ?) button.
The bigger copper plate thing I have no idea.

The funny thing is I think these are all random drops. Possibly an old road way, don't know, but I walked over good ground today.

2013 copper count 80+

Video added.

Nice going Rick! That pillar style is my favorite and one that I rarely see down this way. Are you going to attempt any cleaning to remove some of the tarnish?

WTG Rick! Man you had an awesome day!

Unreal beautiful just beautiful.I think I would have a heart attack to find those coins.keep searching brother.Have to admit though I'm kinda jealous man o man unbelievable great Finds my friend

The button is a 1825-32 Captains, Cmders or Lieutenants Button - very nice.

The Silver is better, in my books!

Thanks for the info. The Silver is by far my favorite too.

Absolutely not. I love that is has nice even natural color, I did soak it a few minutes in water to remove the rest of the brown dirt. Makes a nice mate to the one I got last fall.

Very, very nice! Sweet coins! Looking forward to seeing the digs on video.

I will have a video added in the next couple of hours, just got in from a day of digging, lets just say not as good as yesterday either.

Don't often see that type of Spanish found in our parts... none of mine.

Looks like the Navy button will clean up. Appears to be traces of gilt but hard to say how much will be there.

It's a little cleaner now, but no gold left, OK slight trace.

Super Sweet Spanish silver !!!!!! ...... pardon the alliteration.. :laughing7:

I agree Rick - I wouldn't touch it. And the detail is excellent as well.

Your having a great year Rick...and just tapping the surface of what can be found in that area.... keep hard at it...
