Had my first hunt of the year on some new property today. Got a bunch of leather mounts, a few buttons, a few buckle frags and few other colonial odds and ends but the winner was the very nice copper. Ive found a lot of colonial coppers in farm fields and they are always toasted so this was a pleasant surprise. Looks to have been dropped in 1760

A Hibernia is always a nice find Toasted. Especially one with great detail like yours. The disc lower right with the holes, I have one almost identical to it. I always assumed it was some sort of decorative horse tack??
