I bought a sack of foreign coins from a guy and Wow i have been having fun. The oldest coin so far is this 1782 Silver coin. The most expensive is a 1961-J German 1 Mark in MS condition. Lastly i have a question about these 1957 1 Centavo Mexican coins. One is bronze (like its suppose to be) The other is nickel/silver or something. It is holed so i can see the inside, it doesnt look dipped its also silver through the center. I found a 1958 like it but not the 1957. Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Your silver coin is a 1782 Bavarian 20 Kreuzer. On your German 5 Mark, just be forewarned that prices on those are often based on European grading standards which can extremely harsh. What we consider a MS can fall back to a XF real quick for details that we wouldn't even pay attention to. The 1 Centavo is probably a jewelry piece that had the hole drilled before it was plated, so the inside of the hole is plated also. Sounds like you did pretty well on this lot, so often all you get is tourist bringbacks and you definitely did better than that. Congrats.

Thanks for all the info! Found some neat things for only paying $50
