Hello all
Been cataloging a 700 plus coin collection. Have learned a lot thru this process! Have some fine examples, of coins from around the world, dating back to the Romans, and Venetian's 400BC
But, have hit a wall on this one--would seem like a simple coin/token to identify, but can find no examples/matches. Hoping someone here may have seen it. The date is 1786, appears to be "Hand Hammered", with obverse side displaying a shield, or coat of arms, with folded wings on the left/right sides, and a crown on top. The reverse side displays the date, the large "X", and I do not know what to call the symbol in between the date, "X"
Thxs!
