Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro
Fisher F2 w/11" DD coil
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
So I decided to hit my front yard and go very slow to listen for any deep targets. By the sidewalk next to my driveway I get a decent 79-81 on the ATPro. After digging my plug I find the first out of the targets...a 1918 wheatie. I thought I was done but stuck the pinpointer in the hole again just to be sure. I get a hit on the side and pull my second wheatie...a 1919.
I think I'm done and run the coil over the hole and I still get a solid hit. I dig some more and out pops an 1897 Indian Head!!!
I didn't know what year it was so I run into the house and have the wife tell me...LOL
I was and still am pretty stoked!

My little assistant was showing them off for me to take the pic.

Well done, my introduction the the 1800's club was also an IHP I dug at a defunct trailer court.

Phew! Made it by three years! Congratulations on the IH

Hmm maybe your little assistant is your lucky charm. Maybe she should go with you on a regular basis. Congrats on the 1800's club

Way cool when you can walk out your own front door!

Congratulations on the 1800 club, "membership has it's privileges". Happy hunting this year.

The IH looks to be in great shape too!

Congrats on the 1800s. Nice condition too!

That's a very nice spill. Congrats on your first 1800's. Now you can shoot for a 1700's if you don't already have one.

Congrats love old copper. I hope to break into 1700s some day closest is my 1828 U.S. Half cent. Ohio was mostly an Indian country then but there were whites here. Congrats again and hope you find more.

that cleaned up well, a lot of nice detail on it. Gotta love the green patina they get!

Congrats looks like a nice IH...:occasion14:

Nice finds, with family to boot!

Woo-hoo - Congrats! :occasion18::wav::occasion18: Still looking to get to 1800's, though I've watched my son repeatedly do so, lol. :laughing7: Andi

Well done!! Congrats on breaking the barrier. If you're gonna do it, it might as well be with a great condition IH! :occasion14:
