on a cold start at 8AM. We had a good hunt with lots of relics from the homesite. One find I have not yet identified is what appears to be a horse bridle decoration that is inscribed "Nannie Trail" "Frederick, Md". There was a farm near Frederick owned by the Trail family in the 1800s(now part of Monocacy battlefield) and the homesite where this was dug is known to have a history of horse acquisition.

Another unexpected (but hoped for) find is an Albert GI 85A Infantry button. IMG_8185.webpIMG_8186.webp

Got 4 IHCs (2 being fatties), IMG_8188.webp

another button and a couple roundballs.IMG_8189.webpIMG_8191.webp
