It's not a coin it's thin with a small edge like a cap. Also a small brass object, looks like the bottom to a sheath for a blade maybe? Thanks for any help my friends !

It's just think copper or bronze it looked like the coin maybe came in the protective covering? I will take pictures of the back and post them. Did coins like this sell as a novelty?
