Went out to a couple of wood chip areas today, but the only finds were clad. I stopped by an 1800s house and started finding clad. Towards the end of the hunt, I found a smashed sterling/turquoise owl ring, a 1935 merc and some wheat's. I did find a 20 centavos 1943 coin, which at first glance, I thought it was my first large cent. Thanks for looking. HH

Just curious, why is the paper covering the bottom of the token in the pic?? ???

maby he thinks the number is still in service. willy

That's a great hunt with a nice variety of finds.

Don't think a small nick in token would reduce value much, it's in good dug condition :icon_thumright:
Ah the paper is to cover phone# not a nick :laughing7:

Silver, glass and relics!!! Toy car cool.

That don't bother me, I just don't want anybody to think I'm from the place from where I found it,(I don't like it here much). I'll be moving back to WI. after the kids get graduate high school. :)

Not a bad little hunt there, there may be more goodies waiting there for you. I found 2 mangled rings last week. Maybe it's mangled ring week :dontknow:

Very cool finds! I love the ring.....especially since I collect owl stuff. Love the other goodies too......WTG! :hello2:

HH,
Moon

The token would actually be classified as an advertizing medal. Good finds....Kane23

the owl ring just needs a bit of love to be usible again
