Richard, Dad and I got out to the river dump and got quite a few decent bottles today! The day started out slow as I was digging in an area that wasn't really producing, while Richard was checking the shore for some surface bottles. I moved to another area around five feet over, and I instantly hit the milk bottle. I was digging blank medicines, and sodas one after another, until I started hitting some older canning jars. The clear masons improved was the first one out and it has the zinc top along with the insert in it! It says Clyde new York on the back. Then the lightning jar came out and I was ecstatic! And then I realized it had a huge chunk taken out of the lip... I kept it anyways cause they are really cool! The rest was one after another for a while, and I can't wait to get back out there and find more!!!

Those are some super nice mason jars. And they are the types I enjoyed digging out of old farm dumps many years ago.
