I was out detecting and came across one of these green embossed JSP bottles. It didn't t look that interesting to me and I was a long way from the car so I had to leave it behind. This pic is NOT the bottle I saw....just showing an image I found on the internet after I got home. Apparently it's a late 1800's Joseph S. Pederson bottle. Is this bottle particularly rare? I know exactly where it is and could go back. It had no chips or cracks. Maybe it's not that special.

They're not that rare and come in a variety of colors, but still very desirable with collectors. Need to go back and grab it.

In my eyes I see that as a very cool find But I am a bottle digger more so than anything else I second Sandchip's But I would not have left it behind to start with Ther have been a few times that I found something extra nice while digging and left for the day upon finding an extra nice item Glad you made the trip to finally get it to a safe place And there is a good chance there are other good items where you first found that one Go get them and shows us some more pictures if indeed you find any other good ones Good luck.
