Hey everyone. I searched a spot I haven't been to in a decade and haven't hunted for 17 years. Early 1800's possibly 1700's stone foundation along a ghost road. There are so many slugs and shells because its been everyones target shooting spot forever. Most of these shells where coming up 47-51 and even though I like to dig everything it was too many. So I get another dead 47 signal (V3I) and start walking away and thought, that one sounded a little different. Ill give it a dig. And it was this. says sterling on back. 47 in the air btw and any whites owner knows that's not right. However it is silver. Almost forgot What is this? my guess some kind of cuff link or button. its hard to see but there are sewn button type holes on back. some kind of clip. I added a photo where you can see five holes just like a sew on plastic button. I believe whatever it is that its whole.

I'm guessing it is the remains of a cuff link. 1930's-40's give or take a decade.

I found these at a c1860 homestead in October, they're silver-plate on brass but they kind of look like your find.
I don't know what mine are either, but I feel they're links from a bracelet. :dontknow:
