The piece of dish and the nails certainly have the early 1800s look.

The piece of pottery is feather edge so that could even date you into the 1700s. Square nails are around that late 1700 to late 1870s date range. Nails started to be commonly machine manufactured around the late 1870 through 1880. Great ways to identify a date range on a site.

Good place to work on. Go slow in all angles and lock on to some non-ferrous targets. Good luck!
