From Walter Breen's book on Large Cents:"The traditional test has been die alignment. On the genuine 1804, the 0 in date lines up with O(OF). If it does line up then check the edge for traces of a seam which would be an electrotype." (fake) You coin has not die breaks showing so it may lean more to being one of the many electrotypes that were made during post Civil War time frame.
