Thanks guys, looks like it might be a 1803, just got home need to take care of some stuff, I got it all soaking in distilled water, I'll post later after I clean up a bit.

That is a fine looking half cent! My first ever half cent was an 1803.

That is a great looking old half cent. Old silver would be icing on the cake. I would hunt that site just for a shot at nice coppers with good detail.
