We're looking at 6” to 10” of snow here today in NW NJ so it's a good time to post my finds from the last month or so, the majority of my hunts are from detecting stops on my commute to and from work. My favorite find would be the 1807-1907 Jamestown Exposition watch fob. The best find(s) was the 1929 SLQ and the 1942 Wash QTR in the same hole, the worst would be the rattling compact, only to discover it was the piece of glass rattling inside not the gold coin or LC I was dreaming of (maybe next time?). Thanks for looking & HH :icon_thumright: !

Your "P" button is a 1880-1910's Police button. It seems to be in great condition as well. Does it have a back mark?

Thank you for the replies :icon_thumright: and the information on the button ynpto804, on the back of the "P" button it says "WATERBURY CO'S INC. CONN."

Hello and Man what an assortment of excellent finds :icon_thumright: The toy Texas ranger badge is the same one I found at a dump site and all the little divits at the points of the star have a little jewel in them. I am sure they are glass or plastic, but each one is a different color. Only one of mine is missing. Thanks for sharing and God Bless :angel7: Paul :coffee2:

Great finds! I really love the pic of what I call "Random Stuff". Coins and jewelry are great but it's the everyday paraphernalia of life that really gets me excited!

Tomm I believe that back mark is the newer back mark and should date the button around the 1900-1910s. I think the old ones have a "Fine Quality" back mark. Great Fine either way.
