Today I found US buttons , broken tent tie, British round balls and US round balls, artillery star button and a 1809 large cent, but the US Hat or lapel pin has me stumped can’t find anything online on the Pin. Anyone out there knows anything about it?

It's WWI Period as far as I can see. Could also be an earlier horse rosette.

It’s 1812 site nothing ww1 , found lots of artillery 15 buttons, 6 button , 13 button etc .

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I am with Smokey on this one......

Here's a pic of a WWI rosette. It is an exact match. Happens all the time we find newer stuff on older sites. On my nearly "pure" Civil War site I found a 2006 nickel the other day.

Nice job, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Very cool. The forgotten war for America's independence.
